a watering place

May 1939.

The military conflict between the Soviet Union and Japan occurred in Nomonhan、the border area between Manchuria and Mongolia.

Manchukuo was a puppet state of Japan which was founded in northeastern China.

At that time、the border between Mongolia and Manchuria seemed to have been little uncertain.

First、small conflict occurred between the armies of both countries.
