re-unified
After the fall of the Han dynasty in 220、China was became the era of the Three Kingdoms.
This was the beginning of a long period of China's division.
However、the Jin dynasty has unified China only once. (晋・Shin)
But this dynasty as a unified dynasty in China soon collapsed.(265～316AD)
The Jin dynasty survived as a dynasty in the south of China. (317～420AD)
However、after this they were not able to re-unified of China.
The first half of the Jin dynasty is called "the Western Jin". (西晋・Sei-Shin)
The second half of the Jin dynasty is called "the Eastern Jin" (東晋・Tou-Shin)

Most powerful kingdom in those was "the Koguryo dynasty" in the north. (高句麗)
Japanese pronunciation of 高句麗 is ”Kōkuri".
Also the Koguryo dynasty had been referred to as "高麗" from China and Japan.
(There seems to be such a representation in government documents at the time.)
And this "高麗" seems to mean the Korean Peninsula in Japan at that time (as a regional name?).
Japanese pronunciation of 高麗 is ”Kōrai".
