barren land

After Confucius' death、two great doctrines arose from his teachings. (孔子・Koushi・Kōshi 551BC-479BC)

"The nature that all humans have by nature、it's goodness.

And in that vicious cycle、we are gradually stained with evil.
As a result、this turbulent warring state will get worse and worse.
Therefore、with correct teaching we must remind ourselves of our good nature.
The teaching that makes it possible、that is the teaching of Confucius."
At the death of Mencius、that was 70 years before the unification of China by Qin、Qin had already become a powerful kingdom.
