台風の影響の雨
京都：大雨・最低11.3℃最高14.8℃。台風34号の接近で終日の雨となった。
1967年は台風が年間39個で観測史上最多の発生を記録した。台風34号は10月28日という遅い時期に愛知県渥美半島に上陸、三重県で集中豪雨による崖崩れで多数の死者が出るなど大きな被害となった。
☞1967年8月30日「新潟、山形、福島県下に豪雨」
地域の子供会が終わって再び学校についたのは十一時ごろだった。府学連集会をやっていて「闘いの気分」がみなぎっていた。うたごえ行動隊のエンジのはちまきやライトブルーのはちまきをした仲間が歌をうたって気勢をあげていた。
府学連は民青系府学連のことである。
うたごえ運動は、日本のうたごえ実行委員会（現・日本のうたごえ全国協議会）が主導し、職場や大学、地域を単位とするサークルや合唱団による様々な音楽活動を行う運動をいう。前面には出ないが、実質的には共産党系である。
うたごえ運動では当時、「平和で健康な音楽を国民のものにする」（日本のうたごえ実行委員会規約第１条）として、特に流行歌、歌謡曲、ジャズについて「反動的、退廃的（後退的）音楽の代表的なもの」「これらの歌の特徴は、孤立、失望、悲観、闘いや生産からの逃避など、生活の後退面をあらわしていること。また、大衆自身がつくり出したものでなく、上から与えられたもので、作られた意図にかかわらず、本質的には反動勢力の支配を維持する目的につかわれている」（「うたごえ運動理論（初級）テキスト（改訂版）（その一）」『うたごえ新聞1967年12月1日』（日本のうたごえ実行委員会、1967年））と位置付けていた。現在は、このような考え方は取っていない。
うたごえ行動隊は、うたごえ運動に参加するサークルや合唱団のメンバーによって編成されたチームで、集会やデモ行進などの現場に出向き、主に合唱による音楽活動を行って側面支援する。
☞1967年5月11日「部落研の子供会活動に初めていった」
スト支援という一つの提起された行動を、私がなぜ行なうのか、その必要性を感じなかった。
機関紙では、組合がストに「トロツキストが押しかけようとしている動きがあるため、京都府学連にこれを排除するための協力を申し入れました。これにこたえて京都府学連は26日、全市に550人以上の支援隊を派遣しました」（『赤旗1967年10月27日』（日本共産党中央委員会、1967年））としている。トロツキストとは共産党・民青の用語で社学同、中核派、反帝学評（以上が三派系全学連に含まれる）、革マル派の各団体を指す。
京都市内最大の烏丸車庫では「応援にかけつけた府学連日共系の学生約150人と、反日共系の80余人も車庫内への引き込み線をはさんで対じし、学生たちはかわるがわる「京交労組ガンバレ」などと、軌道上をジグザグしながらシュプレヒコール」（「京の〝交通網〟マヒ」『京都新聞昭和42年10月26日（夕刊）』（京都新聞社、1967年））した。
公務員スト支援
「公務員共闘会議（笹川運平議長）の日教組、日高教、都市交通、全水道、政労協の各組合は、公務員賃金に関する人事院勧告の完全実施、地方公営企業体の賃金保障などを要求して、26日統一ストに突入した。
公営の地下鉄、電車、バスなどの組合である都市交通は、京都、大阪、東京、横浜、名古屋の五大都市で始発から午前8時まで、その他18都市で午前7時までストにはいったため、ラッシュ時にかかり、通勤、通学の足が大幅に乱れた」（「〝出勤の足〟乱れる─市電・市バスがスト突入」『京都新聞昭和42年10月26日（夕刊）』（京都新聞社、1967年）） 。
京都交通労組は予定通り始発から市電3時間、市バス2時間の時限ストに入り、市電318両、市バス389台がストップ、通勤・通学の約14万人に影響が出た。これは1951年12月の3日間全面スト以来の規模となった。

早朝四・三〇に車庫につき、コンクリートの上に坐りこんだ。じわじわとコンクリートの冷たさが体のしんまでしみこんでくる。小倉さんや水藤さん、安藤さんらといっしょだったが、
文産社は、文学部と産業社会学部の意味。
京都市交通局壬生車庫
京都市交通局壬生車庫は、京都市中京区後院通蛸薬師下ル壬生坊城町にあった京都市電の車庫である。同じ敷地に京都市交通局の本庁舎があった。
壬生車庫の前では〝大幅賃上げ実施、市電廃止反対〟のスローガンを大書した幕が掲げられ、〝要求貫徹〟の鉢巻きをした運転士や車掌ら100人あまりが労働歌を歌って気勢を上げたりした。
壬生車庫は現在、京都市交通局壬生操車場などになっている。
10月26日午前4時30分の気温は約13.0℃。
壬生車庫前での集会には「府学連のメンバーも応援にかけつけたが、100人ほどの府学連の中には女子学生も2、30人まじり、市電軌道の上にゴザを敷いてすわりこみ。「４時ごろからすわりこんでいるんだけど、朝がたは寒くて……」と新聞紙で足をくるんだり、たき火にあたったり」（「ターミナル大混乱」『夕刊京都昭和42年10月26日』（夕刊京都新聞社、1967年））した。

長沼：私も民青のスト支援に行きました。当時はまだエッチャンと一緒に活動をしてたので、彼女がどこにいたかはわかりませんでしたけど、近くにはいたと思います。
寒かったです！あちらこちらから「寒いなあ」って声がしてて、新聞紙を使ったりとかいろいろしたんですけど、あまりに寒かったもので、私は「もう、イヤだわ」って言いました。
そうしたら同級生の女子に何て言われたと思います？
「ベトナム人民は今この時、苦しんで頑張ってるのに、この寒さに耐えられんとあかん」ですって（笑）。怒られたんです（笑）。この子はこういう子なのかなと思いました。
それで労働運動してる人は、私たちが初めて座り込みで行ったのに、きちっと物を貸してくれたり、そういうことができました。やっぱり労働者の運動と学生運動とは質が違うんだなと思いましたね。（談）
☞大学１年で一緒・長沼さん「日記に命を懸けてたエッチャン」
「小倉さん」以下は部落研のメンバーのことである。

今日のストの意義は富井市長をはげまし、その後で圧迫している自民党に抗議し、市交通職員の要求をさらに勝ちとっていこうということにあるといった。
「とくにこんどのストを京都市政の面からみると、結果的には〝富井革新市政〟を苦境に追い込んだともいえる。富井市長をはじめ市交通理事者は、こんどのストが〝市民の足〟に及ぼすばかりでなく、来月1日からの臨時市議会に再提案する交通財政再建計画案の審議にも響くとみて、労組側に対し最後まで説得を試みた。しかし、結局失敗に終わり、こんご責任者の〝処分〟を検討しなければならないといった大きな荷物までかかえ込んだ」（「解説─富井市政、苦境に立つ」『京都新聞昭和42年10月26日（夕刊）』（京都新聞社、1967年））。
スト支援をしてえたものは、十年勤続で二五〇〇〇円という低賃金の中から、生活を守るために処罰されることを覚悟で、
独立採算制の京都市交通局は、赤字による借金の増大で破綻状態となり、1967年1月、交通事業者として「財政再建団体」に転落、国の管理下で財政再建を進めることになった。
組合側としては、他の都市では決着済みの前年度の賃上げが見送られ、さらに1967年度の賃上げはもちろん年末手当についても見通しが立たない状況にあった。

基本的なストーリーはオー・ヘンリーの短編小説『赤い酋長の身代金』に基づいているが、原作者として「野津忠二」という名前がクレジットされている。これは、野田高梧・小津・池田忠雄・大久保忠素の4人がそれぞれの名前を合成して名乗ったペンネームであり、当時日本に輸入され始めていた高価なドイツビールを飲むために松竹より原作料を得ることが目的であった。
あらすじ

文吉はようやく親分の権寅のところに鉄坊を連れてきた。しかし鉄坊は、権寅のところでも腕白ぶりを発揮し、悪さのし放題。「どこかへ捨ててきてしまえ」という権寅に、文吉は再び元の場所まで鉄坊を連れて戻ってきた。そこでは鉄坊の仲間の子どもたちがまだ遊んでいる。鉄坊を見て集まってくる他の子たちに、鉄坊は大量のおもちゃを見せて「あのおじちゃんに買ってもらったんだ」と、こっそり帰りかける文吉を指さす。自分にもおもちゃを買ってもらおうという子どもたちに追いかけられ、大慌てで逃げ出す文吉であった。
批評・影響
中心となる登場人物は青木の演じる腕白な子どもであるが、共演する大人の斎藤達雄・坂本武の2人への小津の演技指導のおかげで、子役である青木の効果が出ているといわれた。しかし、作品自体は「ニュアンスのない無機的なもの」といわれ、当時の『キネマ旬報』では「小津のひとつのデッサンと見たほうがよい」と述べられている。
一方、青木は本作をきっかけに松竹蒲田の人気子役となり、「突貫小僧」の名で知られるようになったため、以後これを子役時代の芸名とした。また、松竹蒲田ではこれにあやかって「爆弾小僧」「アメリカ小僧」という芸名の子役も後に登場した。
フィルムの発見と復元
本作はフィルムが失われたと長らく考えられていたが、1988年（昭和63年）に家庭用9.5mmフィルム版のプリントが発見された。これは映画評論家・山根貞男の知人であるフィルムコレクターが、他のコレクターから入手したもので、山根の仲介によってフィルムセンターに寄贈され、35mmフィルムに復元されて再公開された。発見されたプリントは公開当時の完全なものではなく、本作で撮影助手を務めていた厚田雄春によれば、冒頭の製作会社ロゴタイトル・クレジット部分やそれに続く短いカット3、4つほど、さらにエンドマークが欠落しており、中盤部分にも明らかに数コマから数秒ほど欠落している箇所がいくつかあるが、一シークエンスが丸々抜け落ちているようなことはないという。現在観ることのできるプリントは、この9.5 mm版プリントにタイトルなどを補ったものであり、無声映画期に一般的だった秒間18コマ (18 fps) のフレームレートで映写する場合でおよそ18分の長さであるが、現代の規格である24 fpsでの映写では14分ほどになり、本作が収録されている2003年（平成15年）発売のDVDでもこの長さになっている。同プリントは、2001年（平成13年）開催の第20回ポルデノーネ無声映画祭で上映された。
その後、2015年に映画ファンの遺族より京都市のおもちゃ映画ミュージアムに寄贈されたフィルムの中に本作があり、上述の家庭向け短縮版の欠落部分（タイトルシーンや字幕、冒頭部分など数分程度）が含まれていることが判明した。この部分は、翌2016年10月に京都国際映画祭で上映された。 また、2023年にも現存の14分のフィルムより6分長い16mmフィルムが発見されている。

中山さんが訪れたのは、「鎌倉街道」沿いの街、神奈川・鎌倉。鎌倉街道は、鎌倉時代に源頼朝により整備された街道。幕府の御家人が有事の際「いざ鎌倉」と、鎌倉殿の元へ素早く馳せ参じるための道でした。鎌倉は、国内でも有数の観光地。鶴岡八幡宮や小町通りなど大勢の観光客で賑わう街です。今回中山さんは、そんな鎌倉とはひと味違う、静かで落ち着いた「大人の鎌倉」を楽しく散策。とっておきの絶景と、鎌倉ならではの絶品料理、隠れ家カフェのスイーツも存分に堪能します！
鎌倉にある寺院の中で、特に格式が高い五つの寺院「鎌倉五山」で第一位とされる「建長寺」が、今回の中山さんの出発地点。寺の奥にある、初代住職によって作られたという庭園の絶景に思わず息を飲みます。門前にある蕎麦店では、建長寺が発祥といわれる「けんちん汁」を使った人気のうどんをいただきます。たっぷりの野菜と豆腐などに豆乳を加えてまろやかに仕上げた「けんちんうどん」の味に、深い歴史を感じました。

"カラーで蘇る名作映画 青い山脈 新子の卷 (wikiによると1949年7月19日公開)"
◆『青い山脈』（あおいさんみゃく）は、石坂洋次郎の小説『青い山脈』を原作として制作された映画。
1949年・1957年・1963年・1975年・1988年の5回製作され、興行的にも1949年・1957年・1963年はいずれもヒットした（1975年・1988年は不明）。最も名高いのは1949年の今井正監督作品。主題歌の『青い山脈』は、日本映画界に限らず、広く国民に知られている（主題歌については、「青い山脈 (曲)」の項目も参照のこと）。
作品中、ラブレターの文に「恋しい恋しい私の恋人」と書かれるべきものが、「変しい変しい私の変人」となっているエピソードは名高い。
1949年版
監督は今井正、主演は原節子、池部良。正続2編（正篇7月19日公開、続篇7月26日公開）。モノクロ、スタンダード。
東宝と松竹が映画化権を争い、松竹が木下惠介監督を提示したことから東宝側は負けるのを覚悟したが最終的には東宝が映画化権を獲得。しかし、東宝争議で企画審議会に加わっていた組合が「プチブル作家の石坂がブルジョア新聞に連載した作品をなぜ東宝がやる必要があるのか」と猛反対していた。今井は「戦時中抑圧されていた若い男女が一緒に町を歩く、それを描くだけでも意味がある」と反論した。プロデューサーの藤本真澄は東宝を退社して藤本プロを設立する。この時期機能が麻痺していた東宝では各プロデューサーの独立プロにスタジオを貸す方式をとっており、本作は藤本プロと東宝の共同作品となる。 東宝からの製作協力者として代田謙三、井手俊郎らが当り、当初小国英雄が脚本を執筆したが、監督の今井正と意見が対立し降板したため、今井が井手俊郎に書き直させた。井手の脚本家デビュー作となる。以降のリメイク作品のほとんどは、この井手脚本が元になっている。今井は芸者の梅太郎役に杉村春子を推したが、最終的に木暮実千代に落ち着いた。また服部良一の主題歌も今井正監督が好まなかったにもかかわらず、国民的愛唱歌になるほどヒットし、以降のリメイク作品にも使用された。ロケ地は静岡県下田市他。

概要
『青い山脈』は、1947年（昭和22年）6月9日から10月4日の『朝日新聞』に連載された。連載後、同年12月に新潮社から単行本が出版された。
1945年に太平洋戦争が終り、日本が戦争中の軍国主義から民主主義の世の中になった時期を背景に、日本の一地方を舞台に高等女学校の生徒らの男女交際などを通して当時の社会と人間を明るくユーモラスに描いた作品である。男女交際や女性の権利などについて、当時封建的と呼ばれた旧思想と民主主義を標榜する新思想の対立を主題としている。日本国憲法が施行された翌月から連載され、民主主義の教科書として受容された。

舞台
作者の石坂洋次郎は1925年から1929年にかけて青森県立弘前高等女学校（のちの弘前中央高等学校）と秋田県立横手高等女学校（のちの城南高校）の教員をしていたが、『青い山脈』の舞台のモデルは弘前学院聖愛高等学校といわれる。
卒業式の日に卒業生が目を付けた下級生をひっぱたくという「根をはるもの」の章で言及される挿話は、石坂洋次郎の三女が疎開先で通学した女学校の話がヒントになったと推定されている。
学制について
当時すでに教育基本法（昭和22年法律第25号）と学校教育法（昭和22年法律第26号）も施行されていたが、『青い山脈』が連載された1947年度（昭和22年度）には学校教育法に基づく学校は、中等教育及び高等教育に関しては新制中学1年を除き、ほぼ皆無の状況であり、旧制の学校が「従前の規定による学校として存続」という状態であった。この小説は、従前の中等学校令（昭和18年勅令第36号）に基づく旧制・高等女学校と高等学校令（大正7年勅令第389号）に基づく旧制・高等学校という中で書かれている。

評価
作者の石坂洋次郎は、自身の著作について芸術性が薄い傾向で、とくに教師を辞めてからの作品『青い山脈』や『石中先生行状記』、『陽のあたる坂道』、『光る海』などは「通俗性が濃厚に沁（し）み出ている」と、1972年72歳の時に述懐している。
大島渚は、『青い山脈』について性の問題を掘り下げない石坂洋次郎の「通俗的良識」の甘さと、政治などの「危険」な外的要因を避けている点を指摘する一方、「この戦後最初の新聞連載小説が、私たちに与えた新鮮な感動については、それを実際にあじわった人間以外には、いくら説明しても、それを実感として伝えることはできないだろう。（中略）私は今もなお『青い山脈』の文章のひとつ、ひとつ、ことに登場人物の会話のひとつ、ひとつを昨日の記憶のようになまなましく、生理的に思い出すことができる」と、15歳の時に読んで受けた感動を1975年に回想した。
西尾幹二は、第二次大戦後の日本の民主主義を批判的にとらえる視点から1997年に『青い山脈』を批判して否定した。西尾の『青い山脈』批判の要点は、第1に社会や意識の改革における女性上位、第2に戦勝国アメリカ合衆国への迎合意識、第3に個人主義の偏重および国家意識の欠如、第4に発表後50年経過し期限切れによる存在意義の消滅である。
高橋源一郎は、2010年ごろ30年以上ぶりに『青い山脈』を読み、太宰治らが生み出した戦後文学としてもっとも充実した作品であると評し、とくに兵役経験者で高等学校一の読者家である登場人物の富永安吉に注目し、作品の主軸ととらえた。
三浦雅士は2020年に出版した『石坂洋次郎の逆襲』で、その小説について戦前・戦中・戦後を通じて女性の視点で社会を見たその自由主義的な一貫性を高く評価し、『若い人』や『青い山脈』などについてもその明朗健全より重要なのは作品の主人公である女性の登場人物が「主体的に男を選び、主体的に行動する」点であると論じた。
